STEP #1: DOWNLOAD TEXTURES. Many of you have already downloaded our 200 Adobe Illustrator Brushes and are looking to add on Comic Halftones and BMP Textures. *Download our 70 Halftones and 400 BMP Textures to save on our Adobe Illustrator Textures Bundle.
STEP #2: EXTRACT FOLDERS. The first step will be to download and extract the Resource Folders. The Folders will come as a Zipped Folder on Teachable. Once you have Downloaded and Extracted the Folders, the Halftones and Textures are ready to be used in Adobe Illustrator.
STEP #3: APPLY TEXTURES. Halftones and Textures are easy to use even if you are new to Adobe Illustrator. If you are new to Halftones Fills or BMP Textures, follow along with our Tutorials and Resource Guides to practice applying in Adobe Illustrator.

400 ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR BMP TEXTURES. Our BMP Textures are straightforward to use even if you are a beginner to Adobe Illustrator. File-Place the Textures over your finished artwork to use with the Transparency Panel for soft overlays. Use BMP Textures along with Opacity Masks for T-Shirt Distressing. Adobe Illustrator BMP Textures: 145 Cracks, 120 Grunge Distressing, 75 Paper, and 77 Paint Splatter Textures.

USING OPACITY MASKS: This method of masking is used a lot for T-Shirt Design (using your own original artwork). The idea is to have the garment color shine through your own design. The Texture will not print but rather cut through your design to give a vintage or worn appearance. First select your finished design and the BMP Texture. Go to the Transparency Panel and click "Make Mask." Toggle Invert and Clip to get to the desired look.

145 Cracks and Distressing Textures to Apply Opacity Masks to your Own Original Artwork and T-shirt Designs. Use BMP Textures to apply Cracks and Distressing Effects to your Artwork and Designs by Applying Opacity or Transparency Masks for Adobe Illustrator. Use with Clipping Masks to only apply Textures into specific areas or just place in to use as a Global Texture to your Artboard Export.

75 Paper Textures to use along with the Transparency Panel to create soft texture overlays for your own original artwork. This is great for those of you who are using Textures for Web, Print, and Social Media Sites. Use Textures with a combination of Color Swatches, Transparency, Blending Modes, and Clipping Masks to create a subtle texture overlay on your print or web exports.

120 Grunge Distressing Textures to Apply Opacity Masks to your Own Original Artwork and T-shirt Designs. Use BMP Textures to apply Grunge and Distressing Effects to your own Artwork and Designs to use with the Transparency Panel and Opacity Masks for T-Shirt Distressing. Use Opacity Masks to punch the Texture through the design to show the garment color on your Own Original Artwork.

145 Cracks and Distressing Textures: Applying a BMP Texture with an Opacity Mask will punch through the Texture to show the garment color through your design.

75 Paper and 77 Paint Splatter Textures: Select the BMP Texture and Group. Click "Make Mask" in the Transparency Panel. Toggle Invert and Clip to show the garment color.

120 Grunge Distressing Textures : File - Place a BMP Texture over your finished Design (Group.) Scale to Fit Texture over your own Design using the Properties Panel or Scale Tool.

70 ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR HALFTONES. Our Halftones and Patterns Fills are designed for easy application even if you are new to Adobe Illustrator. Halftone Fills behave the same as a Color Swatch so you can apply them quickly using the Blob Brush, Live Paint, or Basic Fills. Paint in Halftones into your own Illustrations and Comics. Adobe Illustrator Halftones include our 70 Comic Strip Halftone Fills.

COPY - PASTE COMIC HALFTONES TO ARTBOARD. All you have to do is Copy and Paste them over into the Artboard you are currently working on. The goal of this step is to get the Halftones into your design so they populate into your Swatches. The Halftones will automatically populate into the Color Swatches Panel to use with Fills, Strokes, Live Paint, and Blob Brush.

Includes Distressed Halftone Textures and Pattern Fills to use in Adobe Illustrator to use for spot textures within your artwork or comics. If you are new to Adobe Illustrator, Halftones and Pattern Fills are extremely easy to use. They are designed for easy application just like any basic color fill but they have Halftones. Halftones are seamless and scaleable. Each Halftone can be recolored or scaled up or down to fit your own artwork or to change the scale of the pattern itself.

Includes Halftone Value Scales and Pattern Fills which are extremely easy to use even as a Beginner. They are designed for easy application by simply clicking on a Halftones Pattern Fills just like you would on a regular Color Swatch. Apply the Halftones using the Blob Brush and Live Paint on your Designs or Comics. Halftones are very flexible since they are Pattern Fills, you can scale them up to get more Chunky Halftones or shrink them down to get a more Subtle Texture.

Includes Halftones and Pattern Fills to use with your value layers. You can simply duplicate the Layer and Click on a Halftone Fill to apply Textures. The Halftones and Pattern Fills do have a transparent background. Patterns can be recolored in the Patterns Panel to match the desired look of your artwork. The Halftones and Pattern Fills do have a transparent background so that you can layer them with your Flat Color and Cast Shadow Layers.

70 Comic Halftones. Download and Extract All before using in Adobe Illustrator. Our Halftone Patterns are Adobe Illustrator Documents, so there is not any fancy way of opening up the file. Just double-click directly from the Folder or Open it from Adobe Illustrator. All you have to do is Copy and Paste them into the Artboard you are currently working on or save your own template.
